Save Farm began as a chikoo nursery in 1970. Three generations later, the orchard is still cared for by the family that welcomes you.
Come for a night and let the farm set the pace. Walk under the chikoo trees, eat home-cooked food and spend time together. Children, grandparents and couples all feel at home here.

Lunch and dinner on arrival, and breakfast the next morning, are all included. The food is simple Maharashtrian home cooking, not spicy or heavy.
Quiet nights
There is no alcohol and no loud music on the farm. Days have shaded places to sit, and evenings stay quiet.

Can we visit for just a day?
Yes. A Day at Save Farm is planned for groups of at least 25 guests. Share your group size, preferred date and interests, and we will discuss a visit plan and quote.
What comes with an overnight stay?
The current overnight packages include two vegetarian meals, one vegetarian breakfast, a guided farm tour and rural activities. We confirm the details for your room and dates before you book.
Is the farm suitable for small children and older parents?
Yes. We have welcomed families with babies and toddlers, and senior guests, for many years. Some rooms are at ground level, meals are simple and not spicy, and the farm tour is by tractor. Tell us who is coming and we will suggest the right room.
How do we book?
Tell us your preferred dates and who is coming. We will confirm availability, the rate and details in writing. An advance payment and written confirmation secure the booking.
Where is Save Farm?
Save Farm is in Gholvad, Dahanu, roughly 2.5 to 3.5 hours from Mumbai by road depending on your starting point and traffic, or 2 hours 45 minutes by train to Gholvad.
